hair

Question Posted Tuesday May 2 2006, 7:46 pm

I have really really really natural straight hair. It's annoying me because I want some waves to it instead of being so freakin straight. How can I make my hair wavy, without curling it. And how long will it stay wavy? Thankss. Any perms or stuff that will make it wavy for a while? I will rate high.

I have naturally sort of wavy hair but this has worked on straight haired people as well.

1. Shower and towel dry hair. Comb through well so there are no tangles. Flip head over and shake to seperate strands.

2. Using Garnier Fructis Curl Defining Mousse scrunch hair all over. Use a fair amount of mousse, the more you use the more it tends to define.

3. Spray hairspray all over hair. I like Garnier Frutis Full Control Hairspray, but you choose. Take a towel in your hand and cover your hands while you scrunch, I see that it defines the curls alot more and gives them more oomph.

4. Sometimes I also use a scrunching spray, like the one Aussie sells. I use the towel trick again. Then I use some more hairspray and don't touch it until it sets. You can always use your hands to rescrunch throughout the day. I find that my hair tends to look better and better as the day goes on when I wear it like this because it drys and looks more naturally curly.

Good luck, hope I could help! I know its alot of product but in my opinion, it's worth it! (Plus, Garnier Fructis is fairly inexpensive.)

well,i suggest a perm maybe?
perms last for 2 years ((about))
and you can get any kind of wave.also,if you think the wave too much, you can always wash it out (it gradually washes out though) its pretty high-matenence though.you need cirtain shampoo,conditioner,come/brush,a lot!

back to your question...
there is this cream made from fructics, sorry,i dont know how long it lasts, but i do no that it works. Also,if your willing, wet your hair and put it in a tight braid.leave it in over night (or two nights if you really want to) and then in the morning, take it out (make sure its dry!!)and if its curly put hairspray in it!! (you might want to try it out on a day that your not doing anything 1st!)it'll probably stay wavy for that day and night. But just to tell you,i think it would be really hard to make just waves in your hair!! try researching it on google if you havnt already!
goooooddd luck!!
