maybe she will act a different way around you...for a while. even if she has absolutely no feelings for you (which I doubt because she's going with you to prom, so she at least thinks of you as VERY good friends), she'll get over the "akward" feeling and it'll be just fine. but honestly, if she likes you even as a friend, she'll like the fact that you like her, even if she doesn't like you in the same way
