tampons

i started my period yesterday. (for the very first time) im in 8th grade. ive been trying to put tampons in for the whole morning i used up 4 already but got madd and threw them away.but the 5th one(haha) i did it and it didnt hurt so i think i did it right. it was just hard to get in. BUT it was very hard to get out.(i took it out right after) is it supposed to have alot of resistance?

When done correctly it has no resistance at all. Tampons are designed to "soak up" what there supposed to and when you put one in there then take it out soon after, it hasnt done it's job which is why there was resistance or a little pain. Because it was dry. Don't worry about the tampon getting lost up there, I assume thats why you pulled it back out. It is PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to get lost.
