I'm sorry if this is disgusting or disturbing, but I have had my period for one year and I never used a tampon. I'm really scared. I'm just afraid I'll put it in wrong, but I really need to use it because I'm doing track. I'm afraid to ask my mom for help too. What should I do? Thanks.

well i dont like talking to my mom about that stuff either. so um.....just read how to do it on the box. thats what i did. trust me you'll be just fine. and sometimes its good to go to your parents but it may be embarrassing at times but thats ok. im wishing you luck! lol jk
