Keeping parents from finding out

Okay, im 16 years old and my mother is taking me to the doctor because my period is ver irregular, and my cramps are so bad...but i dont want her finding out im not a virgin, is it legal for my doctor to tell her that im not one?...if so is there anyway i can get him not to?

WEll that you can do is have your mom wait in the waiting room and then when you go and see the doctor, you can tell them that your not a virgin but you would like them not to tell your mom and they shouldn't. They shouldn't tell her. I hope that this helps. But if your mom goes in with you she might find out but maybe this is the best way to find out and get you on the birth control. See how it goes.
