My best friend is getting married, but I cannot go to the we

Question Posted Sunday January 29 2006, 11:54 pm

Well, one of my very best friends is getting married. But in order to go to her wedding I would have to buy an airplane ticket that costs about $500.00 and then the hotel, food , transportation, dress for the wedding and of course a nice gift (she deserves it!) but I don't have money. I know she would understand, but my other best friend wants to pay for all of these things for me...I don't feel confortable doing this. I love them both, and because I love them I don't want to make anybody pay for my stuff.
What would you do?

If I were you I would talk to my two friends and tell them that you cannot go, even though you would love to be there. Send her a nice gift and a great card. If they are your friends, they will understand.
