making my own clothes

Question Posted Sunday January 22 2006, 6:24 pm

I want to learn how to make my own clothes. I don't really know how to sew them though. I can sew already made clothes. Like I can sew a hole together hem pants and kinda can take in a thigh. Can someone teacher me how to make my own clothes? Websites would be nice too.

If you're still in school many schools offer sewing classes or at the very least home economics. If not, then you could try these sites.

www.sewing.org

sewing.about.com

sewing.patternreview.com/cgi-bin/sewingclasses/index.pl

www.sensiblesewing.com

www.loders4sewing.com/CREATIVE CLASSES.htm

Hopefully at least one of these will prove usefull and good luck!
