hey guys i REALLY need help! i just bought the sims 2 for pc and when i was just about to playit, that white sims 2 box at the beginning showed up, and then i got a box that popped up that says: "Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a Directx 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer."
Please help how can i fix this? Easy 5!

This message means that the video card in your computer is not up to par with what the sims 2 requires. You only need about a 60-100 dollar video card to play the Sims 2, but you still need to buy one. You can go to places like Best Buy, Circuit City, or websites like www.amazon.com , www.newegg.com , or www.ebay.com . I would recommend if you don't want to pay too much, purchase the nVidia GeForce 5500 OC. It's REALLY inexpensive, and the sims 2 at least looks pretty good on it.
