Question Posted Sunday November 20 2005, 7:26 pm

my [unofficial] boyfriend and i have been together for nearly two years. his 16th birthday is in a few days and it means we will finally be able to actually date. for his birthday i bought him a two keychain set. there is a key and separated is a heart with a place for the key that says "he who holds the key can open my heart." also i bought him a really sweet card. so i have two questions.
1.is this enough? should i give him a single rose or something else?
2.how should i give it to him? i was thinking i should put the key in with the card and put the heart in a bag and give it to him after he reads the card and gets the key.
opinions would be nice. boys and girls.

well, gifts really shouldn't matter in a relationship. if you feel like this is enough, then it is. if you don't maybe you could take him to a nice dinner or something? the keychain thing idea is so cute though! i think when you give it to him you should be holding the heart though, not in a bag. then when he opens the card and sees the key, show him you've got the heart. i hope i helped you out some.
