i really need advice on this!!
my names laurie im 16 yrs old.
I really like this guy and he asked me to go on a date with him which i said yes. but then i found out that same day my friend liked him to so i canceled the date. however a week or so later my freind and him went on a date (but he said it wasnt like that)..?..anyways. My friend sorda skrewed me over by doing that. but this guy still likes me and i still like him. but i feel like i would be back stabbing my friend if i got involved with this guy. however..she did the same thing to me..so i dont understand if she got her chance why cant i? i feel like i am too far in liking this guy to ignore anything..i really care about him and want to be with him, and he tells me the same thing..i cant hide my feelings towards him. ive tried talking to my friend and she gets mad really easily that i cant even talk to this guy around her..she saiys she would never talk to me again..i dno if thats just a threat or what..what should i do?..
i want everything to be happy with everyone.

Well, if the guy really liked you, why would he go on a date with your friend? If your friend won't listen to what you have to say, then obviously she isn't a very good friend. You can't help who you like. I wouldn't hide it from her, it will only make things worse. If she is allowed to like that guy, you should be too. Explain to her how much you really do like him. If she gets mad over it, she's not worth it.
