Cliche question.

Question Posted Tuesday November 8 2005, 4:50 pm

I shouldn't really be asking this sort of question as it's very cliche, I should be setting a good example to other users but I need some help.

I haven't really had a real boyfriend for a long time and on Friday I'm meeting my best friend, her boyfriend and a friend of his after school. I'm kind of interested in my friend's boyfriend's friend and I want to make a good impression but I'm hopeless when it comes to talking to new people.

What kind of things can I say to him without appearing too full on? In all the magazines it says to just ask questions but surely that would just creep him out?

If you ask him questions one of after the other, then yes, that would creep him out a bit, but just ask a few questions here and there and talk to him about yourself. Ask him about his interests, where he goes to school, and other topics that should come to your mind when you're talking to him. I wouldn't worry about whether or not asking him questions would creep him out but just talk to him like you know him.
