okay.. so like this guy and i have been pretty much friends with benefits since like february.. i really like him and he says he really likes me..he jsut had surgery like 3 weeks ago and when he came back to school he kept saying he missed me so much and he just wanted to spend time with me.. well we went out and all then he was like i just wanted you to know i have been thinkin about you a lot and i really wanna date now.. so i said okay..then like later we were joking around and he said it was over..his reason was because he doesnt want to get in trouble because he thinks its illegal because hes 17 and im 14.. so is it illegal??? cuz i would kinda like to know.... i mean i dont even know if he actually likes me... please help!!!!

that is legal. there is nothing illegal with a 3 year difference. also (i've looked into it) even if you were 11 (which would be sick) and he were 17, as long as your parents approved of it, your allowed. i'll be dead honsest, when a guy changes his mind alot (like it seems here), he likes you, but not for the right reasons. normally, the only reason a 17 y/o guy would date sum1 thats 14, is to take advantage of her. sometiomes there is a love conection, but not here.
CHAD'S HONEST ADVICE- leave him. i got a girls name tattooed on me once, and we were on and off breaking up and going out. it's not worth the trouble. no matter how good the person looks, it's all about how they treat you. if they treat you with respect, try it. but it really dosnt sound like this guy wants a serrious relationship going on.
