What operating system are you running? What brand and model digital camera do you use? What type of medium does that camera use to store pictures? Do you have the correct card reader, or can the pictures be accessed directly from the camera on the computer?

Once you get all that information, talk to someone from whichever company you got the camera from.

Well, what type of camera do you have? if you have a kodak or something i can help you, as i've had several. first, look at the cords and try to find one that will plug into the camera. (you may have to open where the picture cartrige goes) once you've done that, take the other end and look in the back of you computer where all the wires go. (unless you have a laptop or something, then obviously look at the side.) look for one to insert your wire into. (Try not to unplug anything! Unless it's not too important like your scanner or printer or something.) Also, some computers have openings in the front to insert your picture cartrige into. So, take out the picture cartridge, and check for an opening it might fit into. (Don't force ANYTHING too much!)
