Hi Mackenzie. I need some relationship help. I haven't been going out with this kid for a very long time. He asked me out, and I was really excited. I like him and all, but something about it just doesn't feel right. There's periods where I miss him and want to hang out with him, but other times, like right now, where I just don't know if I really, truly like him. He's my first boyfriend and halfway decent guy who's liked me in a long long time, and I wonder if maybe that's what attracted me to him. It's only been about a day since he asked me and already I feel weird about it, as strange as it seems. What should I do? 14/f, by the way.

Erm, you weren't very specific here:
"who's liked me in a long long time"
I assume that was a typo, and you meant to say, 'whose liked me *FOR* a long long time', right?
Okay, well.. you never made it clear how long a "long long time" is.
I understand you feel uncomfortable for the time being, but if you haven't known this boy fairly well for much more than a month or so... I'd suggest sticking with it for a bit. Ya never know.. things may get better, or perhaps they'll get worse. Point is, it's not fair to break up with him if you hardly know him, understand?? I say that if there was even the tiniest bit of attraction to him BEFORE you were dating.. that he's worthy of a chance, don'tcha think??
And besides.. he's dating you.. so at least we know he has good taste - so there's one thing in his favor from the start!! :D
