MAC makeup

Ok so I'm gettin ready to go to the mall and go to the MAC makeup stand..but when you wear mac makeup how much do you have to wear? just the powder? or foundation too? HELP!

MAC makeup is VERY expensive. If you can afford to buy it, then I'd suggest getting everything you can. Foundation, Powder, Gloss...the works. But I don't think you NEED it all.
