Question Posted Sunday September 25 2005, 11:24 am

Ok I accedently ordered books from Scholastic (BIG MISTAKE!) and didn't pay for them because I didn't know it. Now they sent me a letter from a collection agency and they want me to pay! But I got on their web site and contacted them but they never responded and I couldn't renew my order! What can i do!?!?!? Please I WILL RATE EVERY 1 5's!!! SWEAR! 13/f

i think that you should write them a letter. You can go on their website and find their address. tell them what happened. But you are still going to have to pay for the books. or return them.

welll did you get the books, if you did i would suggest making even $5 payments if you can. but leagally they cant hold you to that bill, you are a minor, now they could hold your parents responsible though, so i would suggest you take care of it before they start getting those collection letters.

Tell your parents. If they don't respond back to you, then just pay. How can you accidently order books?

FIRST: ask your parents... they know best, and most likely have been in these situations before.

SECOND: try contacting the company by phone rather than computer, it is more reliable that way.

If you still can't figure it out, then I would just pay the money... It can't be that much can it?? because if you don't you could have late fees or something like that.
