guys of course!
hi megan. first off i'd like to say you're doing a great job with the advice & being nice to each person who asks it. second, i wish to be one of those people who gets advice. so here is my problem. i really like this guy. i have no idea if he likes me back. we used to talk a lot over the summer & stuff, even online. then when school started, i'd see him but he didn't say hi to me & i never said hi to him. we'd just make eye contact & say absolutely nothing. then on IM, our conversations started to get shorter & more bland, because we talk so little. he never IM's me anymore & i always have to IM him. things just aren't the same. so then i tried talking to him but there's this kid who ALWAYS talks to me and ALWAYS bugs me so i can't. i got one word from him & all it was was this "i wonder if we can keep these [chopsticks]" & then me laughing. it was soo pointless. it's as if we both miss talking to each other, & we both want to say something, but we don't know what. i really want to tell him i like him, but it's only been a month & a half, & to me that feels like nothing. plus, i have been rejected every time by every guy i ever fell for & i don't want to go through that suffering again. 10 people in my grade know, & 1 person in his grade knows [he's a sophomore]. but according to my friend, one person who figured it out is a blabbermouth so that isn't good. i have been keeping it a secret & it's a long story as to how certain people found out that i don't feel like sharing right now. the homecoming dance at our school is on october 1st which will make it exactly one month that i have liked him for. but i asked him [online of course] if he was going & he said something like he hasn't decided yet & he dislikes our school's dances. i don't know what to do. should i tell him? should i wait & see if he finds out? should i write him a letter? or a note? should i wait a longer amount of time & see if he likes me back? i know he doesn't have a girlfriend & has never had one before, so i don't need to worry about that. also no one else but me definitely likes him this way. he has slim to none for friends & i see him alone a lot & i feel bad for him. i don't know what to do. please help megan. thanks a bunch.

Aww.I would love to help you with this problem..okay well it seems like you really like this special guy.You sound like you always need to start the conversation(but that's not always a bad thing) He seems shy.I think the cutest way would be a letter(espically on a bad day) About the dance you should just see after you tell him/give him the note see and give him hints you wanna go to the dance with him.And in the hallway I think you should start up a conversation because if you don't then nothing will happen between you too! You are gonna be the one who starts everything for yourself.He doesn't know how you feel about him maybe you should tell him.Either sit him down like go to a park or something or write him a note.
