Well, I'll tell you the direct answer. Once I've given you this, you'll hate it, probably give me a one because just like everyone else on this site, you hate the truth.
YOu can't make him do anything. If he doesn't want to ask you to homecoming, he isn't. It just wont happen.
To be honest, he probably wont. The fact you wont ask him is going to make the chances impossible. If you were to ask him you'd get an answer very fast. You wont, so you'll watch time fly by, he's gone, and you're sol with no one to go with.
