I don't have a mat. So can I just do it on carpet? Can you tell me some tip, techniques, and excercises you did before?Thanks!

M3GHANBUCHERvllybll answered Thursday August 11 2005, 7:42 pm: okay well you can do it on carpet, or if you have a sturdier blanket or matress that you can take off a bed you can use that too. i will tell you one thing, i didn't stretch one time before i did a tuck and i pulled a muscle in my stomach and couldn't participate for 2 weeks :( so one thing you NEED to do is stretch :) you can do these things where you standing up then you roll backwards almost over but not quite then roll back up and jump... if that makes any sense! also so some carwheels, round-offs, forward/backward rolls. i know it's boring and takes a long time but it will help prevent pulled muscles. also do backhandsprings and when you land jump so you get the felling of going up. i hope i helped!!
