boyfriend and mom?

Question Posted Friday July 29 2005, 10:37 pm

ok, my mom has never let me go on a date with my boyfriend until tonight. only because she lets me do stuff with people when their leaving for somewhere for awhile. and my boyfriend is leaving for florida. is there any way i can make her let me go out with him more? thanks in advance.

yikes, that's a tough one. try sitting down with your mom and telling her that though you understand she's looking out for you and just wants you to be safe, you'd reallllly appreciate it if you could start casually dating, instead of only being able to date someone when they're about to leave. it's sort of a longshot but you just gotta keep trying and keep up their trust and faith. tell her that she knows you're a good kid and wouldn't ever want to do anything to hurt the trust you two have.

this was sort of hard for me to answer since my parents don't know i get involved with guys yet lol. but i hope i helped atleast a little bit. goodluck!
