im not sure if i could really follow your advice jus on the main fact that his gf and i are friends now, we were in cheerleading together so i would really feel bad about asking him out.

well if you really like this guy, tell him. Don't ask him out then. Just tell him and see what he does. If your lucky, he might break up with his girlfriend for you! But if he doesn't and just wants to be friends, then thats ok. You'll get over him. If you need more help, let me know.
