hey brianna! ok last night like i was gonna go swimming with all my friends at my pool but then my period came and i had never used a tampon before. my mom tried to make me but i just cant. my other friend said that the first time you use a tampon it really hurts so i'm really scared. help me!!

hmm...well if you dont wear a tampon when you go swimming...then you'll get really embarassed. on the other hand if you wear one it *might* hurt and you can swim. so which one is better? personally i think the 2nd idea was better. it might seem really painful and scary..and it might be, but you will never know unless you try. but before you do it, make sure you know exactly what to do so nothing bad happens.
