Neither a boyfriend nor a bestfriend
I have this really difficult problem... Ren, my bestfriend, likes me. We like each other since sixth grade. But neither one of us thought that we would go on dating. Then we have another problem: I live in different country. It's like no connection between us at all. I was really sad. I could not contact him or else. After eleven months I lived far away, then I come back for summer holiday. I told him that I like him since sixth grade and he actually feels the same thing. But the only problem that he has is that I'm leaving in two weeks. He says that he can't go out with me for that reason. For him, distance is a big problem. What should I say to him? Iwant him to be my boyfriend, but I'm afraid that I'll be hurt someday. He's right, distance is a big problem. If he finds somebody else, I'll be hurt badly. Should I tell him that I want him to be my boyfriend or just to be my bestfriend?

Okay..If I were you, I'll make like a promise..You know like lil kids like to make a promise..(ex:when im 16, im gonna marry you, or something.)Make that kind of promise..Just say like this: "when i come back here,do you want to be my boyfriend?" If he says yes, that means he promises you that he'll be your boyfriend someday..If he says no..just wait and see if he still likes you or not...Hope i helped!
