I like this guy, a lot. But my best friend likes him too. I'm 13 and I'm a girl. And he is almost 13. We're going into 8th. And he likes me. But I don't know how mad my best friend would get if she knew that i liked him or i went out with him. Help?
But uhm, think of it THIS way...you know if **SHE** were in YOUR shoes.. she would definitely go out with the guy. And you can't blame her TOO much there because you simply CAN NOT live YOUR life for OTHER people, ya get what I'm sayin'??? And if you ask *ME* for MY opinion... I think it would be down right SELFISH of your friend to get all pissy if the two of you went out. She's your friend.. she should want the best for you!! And a 'friend' who DOES NOT want the best for you.. is NOOOOOO 'friend' at all!!! To be perfectly honest, I don't think you should feel bad in the slighest bit if you and this guy get together!
Why don't you just try talking to her about it?? Just tell her how you feel about him, and how much it would mean to you that you have her acceptance and blessing with this whole thing. Hopefully she will understand, and realize she would do the SAME thing if she had the chance.
However, if she simply CAN NOT bring herself to agree with this.. then you must decide whom means more to you.... this guy, or your friend. =/
You could also take a big risk and go out with him regardless of her feelings, and HOPE that she'll still be there by your side... that's what I did. She was pissed for a few days [4 or so], but she cooled off, and later she was totally cool with it.
I say you have a lot of thinking to do. Hopefully this has been even the tiniest bit of help!! I'm here if you need anything else!! Goodluck deciding!! Hope all goes well!! ♥ ♥ ♥ [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
