When in the rain the temperature actually gets colder as it sits on your body but you don't feel the weather change because of your bodies heating system but once the cold hits the edge of your heating system germs come on which start to weaken your immune system then you catch a cold and your cold goes away when your immune system tries to heal itself.
Please rate.

all have to do with body heat. when you are wet or cold your body temperature is cooler as well. as your body heat drops, your body goes into chaos trying to warm you up (like shivvering or goosebumps). since your body is in such fright it the defense goes down in order to concentrate on warming up the body. in the meaningtime, you are touching and breathing in many germs in which are allowed in your body. this causes you to be ill, and have the cold, flu, etc.
hope i helped
