I used to participate in a sport I loved but I kept getting hurt over and over till finally I had to quit... I don't feel like the same person without it in my life but I know if I try again I'll get hurt and feel so stupid cuz I won't be as good as I was before. I had many friends because of this sport but I'm losing them FAST... this really hurts me and I feel completely desperate. So in order to stay active I tried cheerleading... mainly for the school but it turns out those girls are really mean and cheerleading doesn't make me NEAR as happy as the previous sport I had been in. Do you have any suggestions on how I can feel a part of the sport again?
ps: the sport is gymnastics if that can help you relate to this position i'm in... << I hope that doesn't give anything away ; ) sorry this was so long
