well theres this guy and hes my best friends ex bf. me and him have been talking about going out for a few weeks but we dont know if we're going to yet because my best friend hates him. well, he knows that i've had a friend with benefits for about a year and he wanted me to stop hooking up with the guy. i told him i was going to stop because i thought i would be able to but yesterday i wound up hooking up with him. i don't know if i should tell him what happened or not because he said he trusted me that i wouldn't hook up with the guy and i dont want to loose his trust but i feel bad lying to him. What should i do? please help
LanaBabie answered Friday July 8 2005, 7:15 pm: Well, one, your best friend shouldn't care if you're dating someone she doesn't like, as long as your happy. Unless she's a bad and selfish friend. About the guy, one, you aren't dating him, so you technically don't have a loyalty to him, unless you think you should. If you think you should tell him, then do it. Since you aren't going out, you have no real attachment to do it, but if you think you should, then you should tell him. And if you really like that guy, stop your friends with benefits. Thats what I think anyway. Good Luck. <3 Lana [ LanaBabie's advice column | Ask LanaBabie A Question ]
