I hate to tell ya this, but if he's inteRested in someone else it's kind of an 'end of stoRy' deal. Bottom line.. you CAN NOT **MAKE** someone like you, as unfoRtunate as that is. And what's the point in foRming a Relationship when only ONE paRtneR holds Romantic feelings foR the otheR?? Saddly, I think you should be faiR to YOURSELF by accepting and Respecting his wishes. Then I think you should tRy to gatheR up the pieces of youR bRoken heaRt, and keep tRuckin' on. Think of it this way: what's the point in giving youR heaRt away to somoene who won't give you theiRs??? 'Love', whetheR the teRm is used lightly oR not, is RecipRocal; meaning, it's NOT just one-sided. Relationships RequiRe a 120% effoRt fRom *BOTH* paRtneRs, and without that.. you've got nothing.
PeRsonally, I'd just let it be and foRget about this guy. I undeRstand it's the only guy you said you've eveR liked, and it's TERRIBLE of youR fRiend to do this to you. I think whetheR you foRget about this guy oR not.. you should NOT let youR fRiend off of the hook. Tell heR how you'Re feeling; let heR know how much heR inappRopRiate and unappReciated actions huRt you. Ask heR, "What the fuck is up?? I thought we had a deal..", and let heR explain THAT shizz, ya know???
And whateveR the outcome, I wish you of the best. Know that you can always, always come back heRe foR some suppoRt and opinions. :D ♥ [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
