hey, I really like you column :-).. anyways i wanted some make up tips.. particularly eye make up. my eye color is sort of weird, i cant decide if they're blue, green, or gray. everyone tells me differently. i dont want anything too dark, and my skin has a light tan. any help would be great. thank you!
And youR eyecoloR sounds pRettie neat, to tell the tRuth. I'm stuck with bRown; it's cute.. but youRs has peRsonality, haha.. mine just lacks! :)
ANYHOW.. I'd say you'd look cute with some pale yellows, suttle pinks, lavandeR oR white. TRy matching the coloR with youR outfits; that helps sometimes too. HeRe's a tip: to get youR eyeshadow to last alllllllllll day, put some body lotion, oR PetRoleum Jelly on fiRst, THEN apply the shadow. Also, theRe's this technique I ALWAYS do, called "Shadowing". It cReates this AWESOME smokey affect!! You simply put on the coloR eyeshadow you wish to weaR, then using a bRistle bRush, dab a bit of gRay eyeshadoW oveR it!! It's goRgeous; I *NEVER* eveR, eveR leave the house without it!! And if you'd like to use eyelineR, I definitely suggest that!! I've noticed that black eyelineR Really appReciates blue eyes. And as foR how much you put on, it just depends on what kind of a statement you want to make. If you want to give the impRession of defiance, use THICK lineR. OR if you peRfeR the innocent casual look, a thin line is *veRy classy. I'm soRRie; I've pRobably *alReady* made this too long foR you, but if you'd like some pRoduct Recommendations feel fRee to come back to me! I'd be glad to help ya!! :] [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
