Yes, actually... simply:
--SIGN IN.
--go to "ACCOUNT SETTINGS" by youR pRofile pictuRe.
--then click "CANCEL ACCOUNT"; this will shut it down.

You can't exactly ERASE it, but you can cancle the account. If you go to your homepage, click on Account Settings, and you'll see under where it says: Change Account Settings
NOTE: Changing your default email or name can make it hard for your friends
to find or recognize you on MySpace there will be the last option to Cancel Account. Just click on that and it should tell you what to do =)

Well, you can't actually erase your account on Myspace but you can shut it down. If you go to your Home page, click on 'Account Settings', and right under the little note message at the top of the page, there is a link that you can click on, which is 'Cancel Account'. Once you click it, you have to fill it out and it will tell you what to do.
