what are some ways that can lead me to a flatter stomach.. i have tried crunches but those don't work for me.. maybe i am doing it wrong ? someone tell me how to do crunches the right way or an exercise that can help me out ! thanks a lot

1.lie down on the ground
2.pull your feet in to your but to where your knees will be in an up right postion
3.put your ahnds behind your head and make sure your elbows our out toward the ground haveing them in to your ears is doing nothing
4. lift your shoulder off the ground but not your back or but
5. repeat and do then slow doing them fast doesnt get a good of a result...
