I recieve a e mail that shuts down my computer when i try to open it .what can i do to stop it ?

Most likely it is some sort of virus, so I'd say if it's from someone you do not know delete it, if it's from a friend send them a separete message asking if they sent you something and what it said... If they have no idea what your talking about then it is for sure a virus and it is best to just delete it... If you get junk mail, or strange looking e-mails delete them then I suggest running a anti-virus scanner after too just to be sure nothing is hidding in your system...
