Well, if the guy isn't in the same world as you, that would mean that you'd be doing a relationship with an alien. I mean, you never know if that guy could have 9 eyes or 6 arms or something. Freaky stuff, huh?
But anyways, on to being serious. I guess you could, but it will usually be pretty bad. The best form of communication you could do would be calling the person, and you never know what they're doing outside of your relationship. It's probably best not, but hey, that's just my idea, do whatever you want!
