13/f ; as you know, it is April 29 and there is only one day (after this) left of the month. well.. i haven't gotten my period yet for the month of april! i didn't have sex so it couldn't have been that situation with the missed period thing. so my question is, do you have any idea of some sort as to why i haven't gotten my period this month? (and if it helps i got my first period one month before my 12th birthday) ; also, i have a swim meet next saturday (may 7). and if my period doesn't come for the month of april im thinking my period will come down hard for the month of may. im scared that it will happen in the first week of may and last a while. see, im not ready to use a tampon yet because im too scared and im sure that if i tell the coach the reason why i dont/cant attend the meet he's going to tell me to use a tampon since he did the same thing to my sister a few years ago. im just not ready for that yet and im so clueless as to what to do. im pretty sure that the coach wont give me any sympathy =/ ;please give me some advice to my situation(s), it will help me so much and i would greatly appreciate it

I suppose it's always possible that it could come on double stRong duRing the month of May -- that's ceRtainly NOT uncommon. And you shouldn't Really feaR using a tampon, DaRlin'... they come in all diffeRent sizes, so you have an excellent shot at finding an appRopRiate size. HoweveR, I *COMPLETELY* undeRstand and Respect that you'Re not Ready foR that quite yet - it's no biggie.
