well i have a mole on my cheek and im planning on getting it removed pretty soon by a plastic surgon... has anybody had a mole or anything removed from their faces before? and if so what do i need to expect adn does it show much scarring or what?? thanks!!
hogan1223 answered Sunday April 24 2005, 1:53 pm: i personaly havent had anything removed from my face but my sister has. there is nothing to worry about and everything is going to be fine. if you want the scarring to go away quickly, you can use Mederma. its a cream that u apply to your face about 2 times a day. in a very short amount of time, there will be less scarring.
hope that it works out for you! [ hogan1223's advice column | Ask hogan1223 A Question ]

And if this helps ReassuRe you: his was on his eyebRow, and haiR won't gRow oveR scaRs -- he still has both of his eye bRows completely; no flaws. But if it'll help you feel betteR about it, you can always coveR it up with foundation, yep. Hope I helped?? [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]

Foxsea17 answered Saturday April 23 2005, 6:36 pm: Hey! My mom actually had a mole on her face near her nose removed. When she first got it done, there was a small scar, but it faded as the years passed. After you get yours removed, ask your doctor how you can minimize scaring! There are a lot of creams and vitamins that do so. I'm sure he or she will be able to suggest something.
Also, I've had 4 moles removed from my stomach and back. The way my doctor did it, they gave me a shot in order to numb the area. I just wanted to warn you that if you get it done this way, the shot will hurt very badly, but you will not feel anything when the acutally remove the mole! But don't worry about it: it will be over before you know it! Good luck! Hope everything goes well!! [ Foxsea17's advice column | Ask Foxsea17 A Question ]
