blood clots

Is it normal when you have your period to have blood clots?
Or whatever they are... they're kind of solid, round shaped, dark looking things that clump together.
I'm sorry to gross you out. I just want to make sure its normal.

Yes, it's normal to have those clumps of dark blood. You shouldn't get them all the time but if you get them once in a while then that's fine. I rarely get them but when I started my period, I got them sometimes so don't worry.
