Well I have had this problem occuring lately. My vagina area around the outside of it, not the inside seems to get really dry and it will itch. It doesn't do this all the time but it has done it a couple times lately and it is very annoying. There isn't much moisture and I think this may be causing the itch. But why is it so dry? Thanks.

Lack of air flow possibably, but Cortizone cream will relieve the itch. See a gynocologist if this problem is reacurring.

do u notice an odor or do u have a discharge? what your describing sounds to me like a yeast infection.....they can go away on their own....when the natural balance in the vagina returns to normal...
did you recently douche or start using something new to clean yourself with?
if you DO douche...stop.
there is good and bad bacteria living in your vagina...when you douche you flush out the good ones too...and it can cause an infection...
the best thing to clean yourself with is good old soap and water.

dont panic dont you could have an STD or somthing else are you drinking anouff water that could be the problem i would ave a check up done it could be serious

hmm i think you should call your gyno...and if ya don't have one then call one and talk to them and let them tell you! i kind of had this probablem but it was completely dry you might have a infection of some sort!! mine was a yeast but like i said mine wasn't dry all the time!!
