what do you do if you like someone but dont know if they feel the same way? And thier friends with someone who likes you but you tell that person you like them only as a friend because you like thier friend.What should you do?

Well don't back off of someone you like, just because there friend likes you. Yeah we all know how bad we feel when we hurt someone, so just speak the truth. Tell him/her that things btwn u guys are not going to work out because the feelings are just not there. And tell him that your kinda feeling sumone else and if u feel confident in yur answer tell them who, and to not take this as an affence and that you would like to be friends. If he really cares about you he'll understand.
