Question Posted Saturday March 19 2005, 2:40 am

I am so involved into music now adays. I have recieved offers to sing in bars but then sometimes I'm afraid something might happen. Bars aren't exactly the safest place to be you know. I feel like, if I keep refusing offers, then none will come. What should I do to overcome my fear of bars?

bars.. i have never exactly been to a bar, but i know that they can get pretty "wild" if you know what i mean. i would actually say it would depend on how old you are. there is nothing really you can do to "get over your fear of bars." but i wouldnt sing in them unless you feel safe there. even if you refuse singing at bars, you can give them a reason that you dont feel comfortable or anything. just go with your heart. if you feel unsafe then dont do it. sorry i couldnt give you any better advice.. :(
