Hi. Me and my boyfriend (now ex) started going out in May 2004. I am a person that doesn't trust easily, but by June, I trusted him. By September, I was convinced I was in love.
We went to the same school, and were constantly by each other, and he always was to my house on weekends. He was a perfect guy.
But in December, someone in his family died, and his family had to move far from here. So we had to break up. We both cried together on the phone and everything, he was telling me that I wouldn't be able to see him until next year, when he'll have enough money to buy his car. After he left, I broke down.
I thought it would just take time, but it's March, and things have only gotten worse. I told my mother that I want to see a counselor or something.
Do you have any other ideas for this? I'm not looking to get over him, but I want to control my thoughts and feelings because they're taking over my life, my grades are dropping, and my friends tell me I look horrible( from crying myself to sleep) I often think this isn't fair.
I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

XSugarPieX77 answered Monday March 7 2005, 7:14 pm: Its deffinitly not fair when a friend or boyfriend moves away. You just have to member that he'll probably always be a friend to you no matter what since he seems like how you explained a really nice guy. There will be boyfriends in your life that you might break up with and you'll probably feel the same way. Deffinilty go to a counselor he/she could most likely help you a lot. You dont have to get over him right away, it'll probably take time to actually be over him. Get his address/email and chat with him, even though its not the same as him physically being by you he will still be there for you to talk to and express your feelings towards him. Good Luck hun.
