i am a cutter and that is something that is hard to sdmit but what are ways to stop and alternitives??

AdInA answered Tuesday January 25 2005, 8:02 pm: keep your mind busy and off the things that bother you. talk to your friends about your problems and they will help you out! if you don't stop, seriously, talk to your parents they will help you stop if you can't do it yourself. i know hurting yourself may make you feel great in the moment, but afterwards it's no good. if you stop once, you will most likely stop the next time, and you won't have that certain schedule of cutting yourself. talk to a counselor about this, that's what they are there for. they usually help you a whole lot, because they've had to deal with problems like this before with other kids!
