my boyfriend
me and my boyfriend have been together for almost two years now. last Saturday i was at the mall with my friend and we saw him with another girl. we didnt see him kissing her or anything, so we came up with all these crazy ideas. i decided to ask him about it and he confessed to cheating on me and hooking up with this other girl. i couldnt beleive it. he keeps doing all these sweet things for me now and hes begging me for forgiveness. hes making me feel really special and reminding me why i was going out with him in the first place. i have mixed feelings. i dont know whether i should forgive him or not. if i forgive him, will he hurt me again. i dont think i can handle that again. it hurt so bad and i dont want to feel that again. should i just forget him? should i forgive him? i dont know. im so mixed up inside. i need some advice. some GOOD advice. will you help me?

of course i will help you. if it were me, i would ditch the guy. any loser who cheats on me is so not worth my time. you dont need someone you cant trust, someone who is going to disrespect you. maybe he really is sincere in his apology, and really does love you and not this other girl. but how are you supposed to know if hes telling the truth when he lied to you before? how can you trust him again after he LIED to you. once a cheater, almost always a cheater is my motto. of course, everybody deserves a second chance. so if you want to give him that second chance, go for it. maybe you can chalk up the incident as temporary insanity on his part and laugh at it down the road.. maybe he does it again down the road though.. and no third chances. he blew it twice.. and its time for you to move on. personally i would move on after the first time. hope it all works out.. remember that you want a guy who will treat you right.. not wrong. and there are plenty of good eggs out there.. you just have to throw away the rotten one first.
