Can you get a background for your page that isn't on this site whitout paying? If so how do you do that?

Yup, there is a way. If you go to Google and search for "Cute Backgrounds" or if you have your own, right click the background or picture and go to properties and copy the address URL. Then go to your Column Settings and paste that URL in the "Page Background Image (URL)" section and then click on "Submit Colors". Hope I helped :)
