i cant find inspiration to write songs. thats the one thing that would complete my life but i just cant find anyhting to write about. i was hoping maybe you could help me out.

It depends on the type of song you are writing. If your writing like a love song or funny song or you get the picture. I would look to poetry or a favorite book for advice. Other forms of inspiration are your life, lives of friends, or important topics in society. For instance AIDS or the war in Iraq.
In friends lives if they are having troubles or if they do or did somthing that inspires you. These things can give you ideas for songs. I know that one of my favorite songs talks of how a boy loves a girl not for her facial features, but for her beautiful soul. It seems to me that your lack of inspiration is cause you have not yet found your muse. Does this help?
