if the guy really likes the way his hair is, he shouldn't let other peoples opinions influence what he wants for himself. i'm sure people like it, and if they say something about it they're just jealous and looking for something to talk about because they're probably bored with their own lives! if he thinks his fam doesn't like it he should sit them down and talk to them about it..they'll respect the fact that he's being mature about the whole thing. never change the way you are for other people, just be yourself! i hope i answered your question/helped!
