Hey, my name is Jennifer, I've been going out with my boyfriend, Ryan, for a few weeks. I really like him, more than I've liked any of my other boyfriends in the past. Just seeing him or thinking about him makes me smile, and when he holds my hand, touches me or kisses me, everything else in the world dissappears. It's great. My problem is that over the summer, he had a crush on one of my... not exactly friend, but an aquaintence. Her name is Kayla. And she didn't like him back. Over the months he kinda lost interest, at least that's what he told me. Now, my other friend, Melissa, is good friends with Kayla. Kayla told Melissa that Ryan still likes her, and she likes Ryan. I'm worried. Kayla is a very attractive girl, and she could get almost any guy she wants. I recently talked to her, and she said that she woulnd't do anything with him, but she still flirts with him, and he flirts back. It bothers me. I really don't want him to like her, and if he does, I don't want to keep going out with him. What do I do?

AdInA answered Sunday October 31 2004, 2:24 pm: aw this is not a good situation. ok dont believe any of the junk kayla tells you, cause of course shes gonna tell you she wouldnt do anything with him. now ryan.. talk to him please. ask him if he has any feelings for kayla and to be truthful. tell him you heard he does and it hurts you because you really like him. and if he really does like her you dont want to keep going out with him cause it isnt fair to you. i understand you really like this guy and it would hurt to loose him, but sometimes you have no other choice. you will find another guy who will give you the big great smile! :D [ AdInA's advice column | Ask AdInA A Question ]
