ive been on this site for a couple of months now- but as i look at some recent questions you've gotten, i never realized there was an age limit. I'm over 12, but was this always a rule? Or is it new? Sort of stupid question, but it surprised me 12 year olds were being banned for their age. [im not trying to say the rule is bad, because i actually think it makes perfect sense]. sorry if i wasted your time- and thanks for such a great site you've started :)

Yes, it's a rule. It's in the FAQ and terms of service and you even had to click a box when you joined that said "I am 13 years of age". You can read this for more info on why we have this policy in place (it's pretty important):
