Penis soft

When my bf and i go to have sex his penis goes soft he's 16 i gave him a hand job and it took a while for him to get an erection is this normal?
What can we do?

If I had to guess, I'd say that he's having performance anxiety. Perfectly normal for a guy of his age, especially if he hasn't had much experience and he feels nervous. The two of you should talk about it, and hopefully that will help solve the problem.
