Well, find out what he likes, and one day walk up to him and talk to him about those interests ex: he plays baseball ask him who's his favorite player/ team that kind of stuff. When you see him in the hallways say hi to him. Don't do it all the time because he might think you're obsessed. Try not to be so shy. Act as if you're talking to one of your friends. If he says something stupid but somewhat funny which all guys do just give him a cute little smile and look at him.
