ok i like this kid hes one of my best freinds ive liked him since valentines day!! really long!! but then my other bestfreind went out with him it didnt work and ended after a week he said b4 they go out i dont wann hurt you i was like i cant stop u ya i do still like you but what evah he goes u nevah kno one day mayb you and me will work out and then after they broke up he imed me nd we talked n now were cool again and whatever and we chill and like i like him so much but i guess the other day after he called his x a fake he told her he missed her!! what should i do!!

Sounds like he's playing you both. I wouldn't go out with him without making him prove he likes you more than her. Did he say he misses her as a girlfriend or as a friend? Because sometimes when people break up they just miss having the other person to confide in, not in a girlfriend/boyfriend way but as a friendship. Hang out with him some more and try to get him to open up about you and about her and see where it goes from there.
